13. Returns & Refund Policy

13.1 Consumer Protection Act

A5 Cash and Carry complies with the Consumer Protection Act and ensures all staff and suppliers are trained accordingly.

13.2 Quality Assurance

13.2.1. We only stock quality goods. If there’s a concern, please refer to the exchange and refund policy.
13.3.1. Most items can be returned within 14 days in original packaging, unused and sealed. Valid proof of purchase is required.

13.3 Exclusions

• No returns on personal care items: face masks, cosmetics, earrings, roll-on, etc.

• Clearance, damaged, used, or defective items disclosed at purchase are excluded.

• A 20% handling fee may apply for accepted returns.

13.4 Faulty Goods

• Must be returned within 7 days (or within 6 months for calculators) for repair, replacement, or refund.

• Faulty goods may be referred for technical assessment. Feedback will be given within 14 days.

13.5 Excluded Damages

Repairs/replacements do not apply to:

• Lightning, water, fire, or power damage

• Misuse or accidental damage

• Use outside intended purpose

• Use against instructions

13.6 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed in the original payment method:

• EFT (allow 10 working days)

• Cash (if paid in cash)

• Credit card (via reversal, subject to bank processing)

14. Delivery Policy

14.1. Delivery within 7–10 working days after payment clearance.
14.2. Delivery within South Africa only.
14.3. Ensure correct contact and address details when placing your order.
14.4. Deliveries occur weekdays, 08:30–17:00. Someone must be available to receive and sign for the parcel.

14.4 Delivery Conditions

• ID will be required upon delivery.

• Your ID number will be recorded on the delivery note.

• Check parcel seals and condition before accepting.

• If items are missing, A5 Cash and Carry is not liable unless reported upon delivery.

• You may refuse delivery and request return with clear reason.

14.5. If an item is out of stock, we’ll contact you to offer alternatives or a refund.

15. Payment Options

15.1. Payments can be made via credit/debit cards or EFT.
15.2. Accepted cards: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit.
15.3. If payment is not successful, your order may be canceled.
15.4. You authorize A5 Cash and Carry to debit the applicable amount from your card.
15.5. A receipt/invoice will be provided at delivery or collection.

16. Special Limitations

16.1. Paper ream orders are limited to 5 per order due to weight and shipping cost. Larger orders require separate arrangements.

17. Amendments

17.1. A5 Cash and Carry reserves the right to amend or cancel any part of these Terms at its sole discretion.
